I have 2.5 inch hdd roughly 7 years old.
Last time I forgot shut down my laptop and when I woke up its get very hot on hdd area.
Once its cooldown, I power It up and won't boot.
When I plug on pc, it detect.
But mostly data error(cyclic redundancy check).
So can't I save just the hdd?. because the data not really important but need to work properly immediately.

Solution
"data error(cyclic redundancy check)" indicates a drive that has physically failed.

"very hot on hdd area" confirms it.

The drive is dead. Replace.

Kind of hard to replace it, because dont have spare hdd and need to work asap.
The data was fine because have backup on cloud. Right now i'm still checking hdd with recovery software but it's take really long time.
Can't simply format solve it?

Formatting does not fix a drive that is physically dead.
