I can recommend the Qnix QX2710 (DVI only), around £200, uses a Samsung PLS panel, very good quality screen and overclockable for a higher refresh rate. There is also the True10 version which cannot really be overclocked but does have other ports like HDMI and DP.

Well the Benq is cheaper so there is that
Acer uses a mere 32 watts whilst the Benq uses 52 watts
Acer seems to also have speakers and is rather heavier.

If price is an issue go the Benq (or a 4ms response time), if you want some sick speakers and a longer response time go the acer

The only reason I am looking for a 27" is that I'm gonna be watching movies from a distance (say 2m/6.6ft). Right now I'm using a 22" cause I was only sitting on the desk.

I did a bit of research and it seems that 1440p start at 250£ (400$ or so) but unfortunately that's not within my budget. I wouldn't mind a used one if the price drops that much, though I doubt it.

Using the information provided Im sure that you could figure out which one suits your needs more!

Yeah I was looking at that on ebay since it was the cheapest 1440p available and it seems the True10 is at 189£ which is cheaper than the Acer. Will probably go for this one then.

Thanks all!

Try and pay the extra for the "pixel perfect" models, to avoid getting any dead pixels.

The pixel perfect are 80£ (120$) more though.
