Hello, basically I am putting together a new system, but I'm having a hard time choosing a PSU, as most of the wattage calculators I tried are giving me different answers (lots of 750w calculations, but a few at 600w) and I want to get a quality PSU, as the last one I got (a Logisys 550 watt) is kind of a ah heck. The specs are as follows:

CPU: i5 3570 (stock cooler)
Case: Rosewill Redbone U3
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO
GPU: SLI GTX 460
RAM: 2x4 GB sticks DDR3
HDD: 2x 7200rpm SATA (maybe an SSD later)
Optical: DVD/CD-RW

I am also on a shoestring budget ($350-400; RAM, GPU, and HDD are coming out of my old system) so nothing too fancy, but Bronze 80+ would be nice, as would modularity.
So to sum it up, I would like to know what kind of wattage I would need, plus a few recommendations for a good power supply under $80.

Thanks!

Okay, so according to that handy tier scale you linked to, the Rosewill Hive series is in Tier 2, as opposed to most other PSUs in the same price range (plus it's modular 😀), and at 750w will leave some comfortable headroom for later.
Thanks Geofelt!
