Need advice on a redundant mSATA SSD

I'm upgrading my desktop and moving my OS to an SSD. Previously I was using my mSATA SSD as my OS drive, but now I'm upgrading this is now redundant. I was wondering what I could still use my mSATA SSD for? I was thinking, if it would be possible, to use it as a cache drive to speed up one of my other HDDs that use for games and software?

Caching only works with OS drives, data drives don't have that capability.

Just use it as a 3rd data drive.
