Need advice on build.

Hello everyone, I am in need of some help/advice on this build. This computer will only be used for gaming (league of legends and guild wars). I would like to run it at high setting.

If you like the start menu button I would recommend going with windows 7 instead of 8.1 but otherwise this is what i use to play GW2 on ultra. I wouldnt rely on the stock cooler though. Do a hyper 212 evo or Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BK 78.1 CFM

well you dont want that motherboard. thats the old chipset.

it wont even read that CPU until you flash the bios. plus it's much slower and leaves no room to add a 2nd GPU in the future.
you want something on the 990 chipset
Asus m5a99x maybe. (sorry... this will add to the cost )

the power supply is enough to run 270x crossfire provided you arent overcloccing everything... so the only thing holding you back from that future upgrade is the mobo... which is rubbish for several reasons

well all he wants to do is LoL and GW2 he won't really need a second gpu jut get one equivelent to a 7950 3gb i will re-look at the mobo and see whats best

I should mention that this is a build for my brother and he doesn't plan on overclocking or Crossfire. He just wants to be able to play those games in 1080p and still get at least 60 fps with high, or better, settings.

I was debating whether to get the Hyper Evo 212 but I will make sure to add it.

What if I swap out the cpu for the fx 6300 and go with the Asus M5A99X-EVO-R2 mobo?

well if you want ultra stay with the Radeon HD 7950 ($220) and the FX-8320 (~$130). the EVO is a good cooler

I use the Asus M597 2.0 and it works very well if you need a new mobo
