I have a budget of around 800 dollars. I put together a bunch of stuff on Amazon and am wondering if this will be a good computer once it's all put together. I want to be able to play current games like GTA V and The Witcher 3 on at least medium settings. I am going to be using my 42 inch tv as a monitor, which is only 720p.

Here is the list of components I've picked out, totaling around $770.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007RIFMQA/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3KGNLL200UCI2

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SC6HAS4/ref=ox_sc_act_title_8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

If anyone has any better recommendations or if any of those components aren't compatible, I'd really appreciate any advice I can get. Thank you!

The processor is an intel K sku which is unlocked so it can be overclocked

The motherboard is a B series that wont let you use that overclocking option , and will not run that processor because it is an older socket 1155 board instead of the 1150 pins of the newer processor .

I suggest you visit pcpartpicker . You will get immediate feedback about compatibility
If you want to use that cpu then you should use a board with a Z97 chip set
