Il try to keep this short and simple I was planning to upgrade from my oldy gtx650 to a gtx1060 6gb last month but with this whole mine craze the price for that card in my country jumped from less then 300 euros to an insane 435e! granted I could buy it now anyway but it just kills me to waste that much money on a GPU upgrade.
Since I can't wait for the new 1160 to get released what figured out to do is buy a used 670 4gb since the chance of people using a card as old as that for mining is almost zero and a used one goes for like 70-100e it should run most new games at my current resolution and survive for me until the new cards with ordinary prices gets released witch I will get instantly before the miners buy them out.
What i'm asking is some opinions if i'm doing this the best way if not then id be grateful for some alternatives.
Keep in mind that no I cant just wait until the new series of cards are released since ive been holding on for quite awhile with my 650 :)

PS here are my current pc specs if anyone needs them
CPU Intel Quad core i5 4570 3.20ghz(turbo 3.60ghz)
Ram Crucial 8GB DDR3 Ballistix Black 1600mhz
GeForce GTX 650 MSI OC v1 1GB Edition
MOB ASRock B85M-HDS
PSU Corsair CX 500W, 80 Plus Bronze

Yeah i agree in my place the prices for them used are around 70-100 euros still i wonder if im right on the money that there is really almost no chance someone would use these kind of cards for mining

You can find 970 GTX's on Ebay and Reddit hardware swap for around $190 and up, that is close to a 1060 3gb in performance. 780 GTX is a little under the 970 while using more power and being a little bit cheaper. A 680 GTX is weaker than a 1050 TI can will run you $150+ just make sure to get the 4gb versions.
