That PSU will NOT be sufficient. Get a quality 500w unit from a good brand, such as Seasonic, Antec, or Corsair. I'd also look into a case with better airflow, a single 120mm fan is going to have a hard time pushing out the hot air from your GTX460.

An affordable CPU cooler would be good as well (unless you're overclocking, win which case it's a must) - something like the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro should be easy to fit into your budget, and it'll run far cooler and quieter than the boxed heatsink.

This will be a daily use cpu so would a quad or six core be better? Im not extremely worried about losing 5 fps because my monitor is only 19 inch and is 1440-900 max. Overall what cpu would you recommend?

The main reason i picked that case was because i liked the styling and the psu because it had my required 450w, but as you said it may not have the required cooling. I don't plan on overclocking really so would this be sufficient or not?

i do tend to run quite a bit of applications, and wouldn't the new turbocore feature provide about the same clockspeed as a x4 without overclocking?

I know this is tough but im looking to spend more around $40 to meet budget. Besides im not to big on glowing fans because it will be right in front of my bed. Problem is glowing fans usually mean good case+ good airflow.
Would my original case be that bad that i should forget about it?

That case is a little more my style. Heres the post about the hardrive : If you have a Spinpoint F3 1TB drive, you may need a firmware update as the SB950 southbridge used on this is functionally identical to the SB850 which has compatibility issues with that hard drive. Make sure you've got it plugged into SATA1, make a USB boot disk, switch the SATA controller to IDE mode, get the firmware update at Samsung's website, and flash it or it won't recognize your drive (it's a non-destructive update).

What do you think i should do?

Would this psu be sufficient because i can get it in a combo with ram for $85, then i can get the antec case you recommended.
