So ive been running 2x 780ti cards in sli and loving how long theyve lasted me. I literally found some money in a box >< enough to pay for a gtx 970. I figured it would have to be an upgrade considering everything ive heard about how a ton of games dont actually support sli and how id be better off disabling it.
Im wanting to know if i should keep my 970 or sell it to spend on something i can actually use.
Im not sure if 3dmark benchmarks typically utilize sli or not.
However i have some benchmarks of my setup before and after i changed out to the 970. The big gap in scored is what has me so worried about if the 970 is even worth holding onto.
This benchmark is firestrike ultra ran before
http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8998679 (4572 score better than 60% of all results)
and after
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/20819215? (2723 score better than only 20% of all results)
I also have the results from a time spy 1.0 benchmark in case that helps any
http://www.3dmark.com/spy/2008518
I also have another and can do more benchmarks if anyone is actually more familiar with other ones from 3dmark.
I would include my specs but i think the benchmark links provide all that info.
