Hello guys.

Finally making an attempt at building my own PC but I am a bit worried on the parts. I am purchasing them all individually and just want to make sure I am not forgetting anything. I have looked up a few lists etc but my anxiety needs more confirmation so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

PARTS LIST -
CPU - I9 13900K
GFX CARD RTX 4090
CPU COOLER - NOCTUA NHd15 CHROMAX BLACK
MOTHERBOARD - MSI PRO z790-p ATX LGA1700
MEMORY Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-5600 CL36 Memory
STORAGE - Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
CASE - ANY SUGGESTIONS? I was looking at the NZXT H7 however ive seen it only has 2 USB PORTS?
POWER SUPPLY -Corsair RM1000x (2021) 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
OPERATING SYSTEM windows 11
WIRED NETWORK ADAPTER Asus XG-C100C 10 Gb/s Ethernet PCIe x4 Network Adapter
CASE FANS
THERMAL COMPOUND - ARCTIC SILVER 5

Let me know what you think guys. Open to ideas.

Could you pass on the BB code for the PCPartPicker build you've partially listed above? At a glance, the build is fine, though I'd advise on a Corsair case, to make sure you've got good airflow...or something from Lian-Li. You should have access to Fractal's gear as well.

I'd look into a slightly higher wattage PSU however overall, without putting the cost of parts into context, the build is fine. Why t get a board that has 10G built in to it?

@Kbagz91 it's difficult to give any advice without knowing the intended uses of your PC. If your primary use will be gaming then I would look at something like this seeing how running an unlocked 13 gen i9 with air cooling isn't the best solution.

Few suggestions:

The 7800X3D is the best gaming cpu, i would suggest that if you want to go air cooling.

The thermaright cooler is a big boi air cooler that competes with noctua for half its price.

more modern SSD, latest ATX 3.0 PSU, good looking case and fans.

It would be used mainly for competetive gaming and also Music production and composition etc as I also make music.

I really wanted the 13900. Do you suggest watercooling with it then?

THanks for the info mate. Will have a look. Any decent pre builts knocking around inside the £3000-£3500 mark in case I bottle building it?
This outfit is about as good as it gets for prebuilts. I'll have a closer look when I get back home.
