Approximate Purchase Date: This week

Budget Range: 300-500, tiny bit flexible

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Surfing the web, steaming movies, very minimal gaming, should be able to run autocad.

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Keyboard, I am looking for one where the keys light up and if it could also be a mechanical that'd be great.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com / tigerdirect.com

Parts Preferences: No preference

Overclocking: No

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I would like to run the OS off an SSD at least, I think 250gb of storage is just enough, but 500gb would be ideal.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: other reasons for upgrading is that this current PC is just too slow, the fan is always so loud and obnoxious so i want a super quiet build! If possible I would like to use a mid-tower or smaller, this is supposed to be a very short and sweet build which i'm doing as a favor to my father who isn't the most tech-savy and i would rather put his money to better use than just letting him buy a prebuilt dell/hp buisiness class or worse.

A 500 gig hard drive costs only a dollar less so why not give yourself head room .
To lower the cost reduce the graphics card to a standard 750 , or to a radeon 260X

I was looking for a super quiet build as stated previously, and I'm just looking over what you've laid out here. What brand cpu cooler/case fans would be recommended here?
