Need advice on Routers for Site-to-Site VPNs

Hello! We're looking for a little assistance in purchasing new VPN routers.

We have two offices:

Office1: 30 Computers + Server
Office2: 7 Computers

Every computer at both offices needs to access a file sharing server (WinServer2012R2 with AD) at Office1.

I'd like to have a router at each location that establishes a secure, fast VPN tunnel that requires little to no maintenance. We can figure out how to set them up. Should I be considering Cisco Small Buisness routers (or) SonicWall (or...)? How would you set it up? IPsec, OpenVPN? Just looking for a good, affordable solution. Thanks!

Do you want all of Internet traffic of Office2 to go thru Office1 as well?
You might look at OpenWRT-compatible router, where you can assign additional routing rules to avoid that.

So you're saying that a site-to-site vpn router, like a SonicWall, would pass all internet traffic through the VPN?

I am not aware of SonicWall features, but most VPN clients send all traffic over VPN tunnel to the other end. Whether you can live with that or not is a decision you want to make by yourlselves.
