Need advice on upgrading my gaming pc

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to upgrade my gaming pc but can't do all parts at once. My current pc has an intel core i7-3770k, gtx 770, and 8gb ddr3 ram. Eventually, I'd like to upgrade to an i5-7600k with new mobo and ram and a gtx 1060 6gb. The question is which is more important to upgrade first the cpu or gpu. any additional advice would be helpful. Thanks!!

Since you'll eventually need a platform upgrade and that 1060 is 6GB type and can't have been purchased too long ago, get some more use out of it and do the MB, CPU and RAM upgrade first. I would definitely go 8000 series on the CPU though. An 8600k would be a pretty good choice if you can't afford a 8700k.
