Need advice on upgrading the processor in my HP G72 laptop.

I am needing advice on upgrading the pentium P6100 mobile processor, to an Arrandale I3 390M in my HP G72. I am needing advice because I don't want to accidentally brick the bios if I go through with the upgrade.
