which one will be just enough to most likely play witcher 3 on medium/high settings?
im leaning towards the 500$ one since im on a budget but what do you guys think? which one is the better deal.

Yea do you think i should go for that if i can make it work somehow?

honestly speaking, if the 500$ one can run it at high by removing some stuff like Anti aliasing i would go for the 500$ because i would love to play it on high, but if it can't i'll have to get the i7 one but the budget is quite tight..

the limit for the fx8 core isn't the cpu. you said you were willing to overclock, and that motherboard and cpu cooler will support overclocking. The limit for the AMD computer is the gpu. that old 660ti won't play the witcher3 on high settings and it's questionable if it will manage at medium.

i see i thought it should be enough since it was in the 30% range of the recommended setting on game debate, here's the link http://www.game-debate.com/hardware/?gid=874&graphics=GeForce%20GTX%20660%20Ti and look up witcher 3 on the right

yea fair enough, i was thinking a combination of medium/high settings xD ah well

well, what scares me about that game is the "recommended" system is insane.

ikr? man they are insane, have you seen the low requirements too? xD they make you think how beast of a game it must be
