Need advice please :) Upgrading GPU

Hi everyone, I've currently got a Nvidia GeForce GT 440 1gb DDR3 which isn't that good of a GPU, but was cheap at the time, I would like to upgrade but am on a budget of £100 so is it worth upgrading? The GPU I have runs most of the things I want to play perfectly but sometimes I have to lower the resolution a bit as I'm using a TV as a monitor and it has a huge resolution. So how much better of a GPU can I find for £100 ? Or should I just not bother and wait untill I have a bit more money? Thanks

Radeon hd 7770 or gtx 650 ti depending what the prices look like over there. Those are both pretty decent cards and good bang for the buck. i would not get anything less than that.

For £100 you can easily get a Radeon HD 7750 or Radeon HD 7770 graphics card. That would provide a substantial improvement in gaming performance. Have a look at this comparision: Geforce GT 440 vs. Radeon HD 7750.
