Hi Guys,

I am having a Cooler Master MB500 case (came with a RGB controller hub & a 3 way RGB splitter with the case). By default the case had 3 RGB fans installed and I added a 4th RGB fan to the case & also added a RGB LED strip.

Now I want to control all the 4 fans & the LED strip through the provided RGB controller hub (my motherboard doesn't have a RGB header unfortunately). But as of now I can only control 3 of the fans together through the 3-way RGB splitter. I was thinking if I could daisy-chain using another 3-way RGB splitter so that I can color control all the 5 RGB devices together. A small diagram for visual reference:

Is it okay to do it this way? Or will this cause overload on the SATA/ Molex power ports?
If not okay, then can you guys please suggest any other way to do achieve this?

Solution
Pass on the make and model of the additional fan and the LED strip. If they are within the same ecosystem as the CoolerMaster devices(that is they are CoolerMaster gear) then you should look into their add-on RGB controller.

Reason being is that the manual suggest working with the 3 bundled fans with that one controller meaning that's it's threshold. Doing anything beyond the manual, in terms of the controller, would be counter to what the controller is capable of out of the box.

The additional RGB fan is CM MasterFan Pro 120 AF RGB and the LED strip is CM Universal RGB LED strip.
Both are same manufacturer.

And thank you for the reply & linking the product. It looks really interesting.

By any chance if I am not able to get my hands on the RGB controller you linked, would you suggest any other way?
