Hello. This is the customized build that I'll be taking a look at and it'll be assembled at Canada Computers. I haven't ordered anything yet and it hasn't yet been assembled.

https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/sr7gqR

It says there's no compatibility or fitting issues; is the website wrong?

I'll be doing a lot of heavy duty simulation games like MSFS 40th anniversary edition and Cities: Skylines II with graphics all set to ultra and the rendering bars and intensity bars all swiped to the maximum. Maybe also the new GTA 5 that's coming out as well with the graphics all set to the max. It's pretty darn expensive in CAD $. Is this an appropriate build or is it too much excess? I'm looking for an FPS that goes to 90+ or even 100+ on those games.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5 GHz 8-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: EK AIO 280 D-RGB 116 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX ATX AM5

Memory: Apacer Panther RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL40 (x4, 64GB RAM)

Storage: ADATA LEGEND 970 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive

Video Card: Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 7800 XT 16 GB Video Card

Case: Antec P20C ARGB ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply: DeepCool PX-G 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX (chose deepcool because of the Japanese-made capacitors mentioned)

Monitor resolution: 1080p

What do you guys think?

This build includes Windows 11. This trims some of the fat off your build while putting you into a RTX 4070 Super 12GB gpu (due for release within two weeks from now), 64GB of CL30 AMD EXPO RAM, better case, ATX 3.0 psu, 2TB SSD, etc ... That gpu will retail for right around $800 CAD.

Few things to note:

You dont need 64gb ram for gaming MSFS or City skylines 2. 32gb is more than enough. The rams i chose are low profile that fits with the air cooler.

Good mobo with wifi

You really need 2tb for big games like MSFS. you will run out of storage with 5 AAA games and other softwares.

Like @Why_Me said, the 4070 Super would be great for 1080p

case with included fans and front panel type C, digital temp readout

ATX 3.0 Tier A PSU
