Approximate Purchase Date: Not Purchased Yet/Still In Planning Stage

Budget Range: As close to $1000USD or less as possible

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming @ 1080P/Max Settings/60fps (Mostly Modern FPS Games), Internet Use, Microsoft Office, Other Basic Tasks

Are you buying a monitor: Not yet

Parts to Upgrade: Depends. Need Budget Advice.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Whatever Is Cheapest After Shipping & Rebates; I Just Do NOT Want/Trust Used Parts

Location: West Virginia Country - United States - we need to know where these parts are being assembled and whether there are good store-only deals available

Parts Preferences: Please No AMD/Crossfire. Also, I Just Like High Performance/Quality Parts If Budget Allows i.e. The Best Possible Per Dollar

Overclocking: Highly Likely

SLI or Crossfire: Yes, Dual SLI In The Future

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080@60fps

Additional Comments: Prefer Good Air Flow In Case, Prefer Smaller/Lighter Cases (Nothing Bigger Than Mid Tower), Need Future Proofing, Will Be Adding Second GPU And Two More Sticks Of Identical RAM In Future (Exclude This From Build Cost Of $1000 Or Less), Would Really Love A M.2 With A Second High Storage Drive But Can Get By With Just 1 SSD 500GB+, Prefer High TDP Air Cooler Since They Perform Equal To AIO At A Much Lower Cost, Motherboard Needs High Number Of Power Phases For OC, Don't Need A Bunch Of 3.5" and 2.5" Blocking Airflow, Don't Like Leaving Empty Fan Slots On My Case If There Isn't Enough Fan Headers But Can Use Y-Splitter If Necessary, Case Must Have Positive Pressure (Don't Forget GPU Exhaust), I Don't Like An Uncomfortable Amount Of Noise But I Do Want A Good Amount Of Airflow (CFM), But Trying To Keep Each Fan No More Than 25-30 dBA.
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: New PC Gaming Build. Last PC Is A Big Heavy Full Tower And All Parts Are OLD.

My Current Build List:

Intel Core i3-8350K Coffee Lake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 (300 Series) 91W BX80684I38350K

Solution
I'd get the Ryzen 5 over the i3. Then you can use the good stock cooler too. Money saved could go into RAM today, 2x8gb.

Also, ditch the DVD drive unless you absolutely need it. You can download W10 from online then buy W10 from store and type in the code to permanently activate. So, you don't need a DVD drive.

A gtx 1060 is more than enough for 1080p 60Hz.
