so i have an i7 4770k a gtx 770 a Noctua NH-U9B SE2 and a cooler master storm trooper (keep in mind that this is my first rig so im still a little new to this). so mid way through building my rig i found out that my cooler couldn't take air from the front of my case because the fan was blocking the memory so i rotated it to take air from the bottom of my case only now it takes the hot air from my above my graphics card. the temp on the cpu is a little hot but ok (30c/85f browsing 45c/110f rendering a video 65c/150f playing battlefield 4) but im planning on getting a second graphics card soon and that will mean all heat coming from the graphics cards will end at my cpu so im planning to get the NZXT Kraken X60 and maybe over clock my cpu a little cause rendering a video hordes my cpu and i cant do anything but i dont know if there might be problems with that or if there's a better cooler for my situation so please any cooling suggestions would be very helpful if you need me to i can post a picture of my rig so you can get a visual on my delema

  • ■ Punctuation and paragraphs do exist.
    ■ Using them makes sense, because few people are prepared to read a wall of text like that. If you are too lazy to properly write your text, how can you expect other people to be diligent enough to wade through it?
    ■ Your CPU temps are not only good, they are excellent. Your graphics card does not seem to pose the faintest problem, and you have plenty of leeway upwards even if there is another GPU in the future. FYI: The i7-4770k can go all the way up to 100°C without taking damage! Once there it will throttle itself a little and still take no damage. Your temperatures are not even remotely critical.
Hi, those temperature are not bad at all. Is the 4770K overclocked or is it at stock clocks? The Noctua is a really good air cooler but I'd suggest going to a all in one water cooling solution. Your case has a 200mm fan mounted on the top inside but can be downgraded to either two 120mm or 140mm fans so it will support a water cooling unit like the Corsair H100. Plus it will free up a lot of space in your case and give it a much cleaner look.

thanks heaps you guys and yer im sorry about the spelling and punctuation i was never very good at it. i think i might get a water cooler anyway cause it will make my case allot cleaner but i might not get a super powerful one like i was going to. its really good to know that my CPU dosen't throttle till 100 degrees though so thanks guys
