Hi there,

I am looking to upgrade my computer. Only want to keep my GPU: GTX 770 (will probably upgrade in the future but don't have the budget right now) and PSU: 750W. Everything else i would like to upgrade, preferably in time for BF1.

I want a i5 6600k, and a Z170 motherboard, but I don't have much experience with buying motherboards and cases and wondered if there anyone could give some guidance, I want a either a mid or a full ATX case with good air flow and cooling without spending over £60 preferably and a Z170 motherboard that will be reliable for no more than £100.

Another point to consider would be whether to wait for Intels 7th gen i5s to be released, as that isn't meant to be too far away. would this make the current CPUs cheaper, or might there be a better option once the new CPUs come out?

Quite a lot of questions here I know, but advice on any would be helpful.

Many thanks in advance.

The new CPUs dont tend to make the current ones get cheaper, they just stop stocking them.

Regarding the case, its very much personal preference, but theres a few brands that make decent quality cases that are good to build in:

Corsair
Fractal Design
Bitfenix
Phanteks
NZXT

Regarding the motherboard, it depends entirely on what features you want, its certainly possible to get a good one for £100. This Entry level Z170 board by Asus is a good option (unless its lacking a feature you want):
