So I just upgraded to a RYZEN 7 5800K, MSI Meg X570 Unify (BIOS A.B3), 16GB DDR 4600Mhz (CL 19) RAM, and an Radeon 570X GPU. What would be the optimal OC setting for this setup?
I suppose AMD may have snuck out a new 5800....but with a 5800X I'd go one step further: turn on PBO and undervolt with Curve Optimizer. It can be as simple as using a curve that works for all cores as it's still going to be an improvement. But if you're a "tweaker" at heart then working out a custom curve for each core gets the best performance possible while actually lowering operating temperature.
If A10-5800K neither PBO nor Curve Optimizer is an option; it's a Piledriver arch processor that sits on FM2 socket. Won't work on an X570 board, with AM4 socket, either.
