I just bought this Asus B85 Pro Gamer MoBo. And will get the other parts maybe by tomorrow.

RAM: G.Skill RipJaw 1600 4GB
PSU: Corsair CX550M
CPU: G3258
MoBo: B85 Pro Gamer

1. What can you say about this build? I was really unlucky getting this MoBo and I didn't know that I can get something better than this with same price. Is this MoBo really bad? Found many people chose an H97 against this board. Why is it?

2. People also say get "3 tiers up" I really dont know what does it mean

3. I will save more budget for a GPU. Will be using the On-Board for awhile. So can it Run games like Dota 2, Skyrim and Counter strike Global Offensive med settings?

4. Can't I overclock G3258 with my MoBo? And do I need to update my BIOS for G3258?

Sorry I'm still a newbie. please consider my questions.

because B85 chipset has functions specific to business, not gaming. It will still work fine for your purposes (I think) I didn't look to see what socket support it has vs what your CPU has.

ALl your components appear to be a collection of low-price and low quality. The PSU is third-tier as well, not really recommended for overclocking.

the tier list: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

Rates PSUs from excellent to absolute crap.

As for overclocking, I sincerely doubt it.

My sincere apologies - I did not mean to impugn G.Skill memory. In fact, G;Skill memory is my preferred brand when I build machines. I haven't used anything else in a build since about 2011 and if possible, I always configure and recommend it to others as well.
