Hi
i saw on amazon this SSD card
SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 500GB - M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology (MZ-V7S500B/AM)

my mother board is Gigabyte H97-D3H-CF
now i have this SSD drive KINGSTON SV300S37A120G
i'm considering to replace it

Will this card be suitable for my motherboard?
do you recommend purchasing this card in terms of performance?

Solution
Actually, no.
On that motherboard, that Samsung will run about 1/2 speed. Barely faster than the SATA III drive you have now.
And, your board may not even be able to boot from it. NVMe support was very spotty with the Z97 and earlier motherboards.

Replace the small aging Kingston with a newer, larger, SATA III SSD.
Samsung 870 EVO or Crucial MX500, for instance.
