Need advise on pc air cooling

Hello there!

I've got a new gaming pc since a few months.
In the beginning I found out that it was getting too hot, so I placed 2 intake fans.
I still think that the pc is getting too much heat and that I can make it much more cooler. I think turning the PSU or changing the outtake fan would lower the temperature.

For my intake fan, I've bought 2 of these:

Due the size of the case, I could only take 120 mm slim fans, because the standard 120 mm fans were too thick.

The pc has been assembled by a shop. I however do not get yet why the fan is on the inside, while there is a hole downward, so the PSU could be turned, which looks more effective to me.

As outtake I've this fan which was delivered with the case purchase. I believe it's a 120 mm but I'm not sure. I've the feeling the fan isn't getting much air out, mostly due the lack of space behind the case, but still think that another would be much more effective.

Would it be advised to change this fan for a High Airflow or Static Pressure fan ? I think this one is a Static Pressure? and that a High Airflow might be better? But then we still got the lack of space behind, which won't change.

So this is my setup atm. I'm very curious to what I could do (Except moving case) to increase my cooling. I think that changing the outtake fan to a better one that can do more, would be a big increase. Also, turning the PSU might help I assume?

As it is, PSU turned like that helps with evacuating air from the case and turning it downwards would be worse as you have quite a bit more air coming in than pulling out. Air may be piling in some pockets inside.
Is there, by any chance, a place for an exhaust fan at the top of the case ?

Sadly, there is no space for another exhaust fan at the top of the case. I only got 1 fan, which came with the case itself. I think there should be much better ones that can process much more much faster, but I lack the experience.

Also thanks for telling me why the PSU is placed like that. Never thought about it.

There are some really good (but expensive) case fans by Phanteks and a high flow one should help somewhat, I really can't see anything more you could do for that case. It would also be nice to make sure that back is not restricted due to case placement, it can make a mess of your cooling and wall behind it.

I've been looking and couldn't find a good one (might have been looking wrong).

While searching for them, I did came across the Noctua NF-S12A FLX, 120mm ( https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608037 ). For a exhaust fan, it looks really good to me. It has a higher airflow and more power then the ones I found under the search result of "PHanteks fan 120mm".

I'm not looking to price atm. I'm willing to spend €30,- max for a fan so I'm looking to a high performing, not too much noise, and strong enough 120mm fan.

Maybe you have some suggested case fans (+link?) ? Looking for 3 pin (I do have the option for 4 pin, but for case fans, 3 is best I believe?)

Yes, also very good fan although some consider it ugly. Also has moderate sound at full rpm.
With 4 pin fans you have better control of it, also fits in 3pin places.

Might be ugly yes, but I try to keep my case closed. It doesn't have any glass or leds etc, it's all about performance.
But I think I will go with the PWM (4 pin) version (http://noctua.at/en/nf-s12a-pwm ).

I'm confused though about the L.N.A they are talking about. I understand this is some kind of cable you connect for less noise? But decreased performance?
If I just plug it in with the 4 pins, then it should do the 107,5 m³/h (Airflow) and not the 83,2 m³/h (Airflow with L.N.A.) right ?

Yes, that's to slow it down, that's only way to quiet them, slow them down. With 4 pins you can also set it to run at full speed, thru BIOS or maybe SW. Doesn't have always to run full blast, only when temps reach some value.

Yes, trough BIOS I can adjust their speed depending on the temperature. With PMW and with power (For 3 pins).
I think I've made my choice for the fan and I now know why the PSU is turned like this. I would like to thank you for your help.
