Hey ppl

I need help choosing the right parts for my pc, not to prisy but good quility stuff. I basicly just need the models and stuff, coz i have a prise list of rectron where my dad can get the stuff for me. Im in south africa so prises in rands please.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: In a few months, like about 6 months.
BUDGET RANGE: RSA R6000-R8000
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Surfing the internet, music colections(listening, downloading, watching, storing), watching movies(mostly a media pc), normal word and exel working, games(like to play games but not that much)
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Keyboard, mouse, screen, box
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: I don't know anout much websites but I will be bying from the rectron pricelist.
PARTS PREFERENCES: I don't really know and don't really mind, but i would like a intel motherboard and just good quality stuf
OVERCLOCKING: I don't even know what it is, but probally maybe
MONITOR RESOLUTION: I don't know. What would be best? It just musn't be like too big or too small.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Just want a pretty fast pc, i'm not too botherd bout the noise, and just want awesum graphics.

So far i don't have any parts in mind really, i just want a cool pc that fits me.

May I suggest you come back in around 5 months? Unless it will take weeks for you to receive the PC, you should wait and see how new parts (like the upcoming i5 CPUs) will affect current pricing. Heck, some of those new products might prove to be better buys!
