Hi everyone, I could really use some help with an error code on a Winbook TW 800 that I recently bought at a second hand store. The tablet wasn't cleaned before donating it so the password is locked. I finally got a keyboard that I can plug into after a lot of trial and error with the keyboard on EASE of ACCESS. I'm not nearly as tech savvy as everyone on here, I am just actually learning a lot from just reading everyone's posts and all the suggestions and a lot of trial and error on my part.

So this is what I have figured out so far:

1. ERROR CODE: 80070070 IS THE ERROR CODE
2. I can get into choose an option and I have chosen just about all of them. But nothing works, Restore, reset, command prompt, etc. When I get there I push the button to run it and it comes back with:
There was a problem, Restart your PC to try again, I Restart and it brings me right back to the login in screen
I don't know the person's password, I have tried to do a password reset by creating a disc and trying to download it with both a USB Flash Drive and a DVD+R but it doesn't work.
I have been able to get into the shell and learn a little about it, like I can type: help, and get a list of commands, where I can only see the bottom half of them because I don't know how to scroll yet. Then I can do exit: sometimes it takes me to bios. But that's all I can do. When I hit mapping, oh yeah I can do that too, :)

2.31 running 1.1.2.. Of the Shell I'll list a couple of lines of what is showing up:

Device mapping table
fs0 :HardDisk - Alias hd256b blk0
Acpi (PNP0A031.0)/Pci (17'0)/Ctrl(0)/HD (Part2.Sig9988D20F-EA18-4F31-BB57-C
7DDE55B-\08D7)

THE REST IS THE PART THAT MAKES ME THINK SOMETHING IS BLOCKING SOMETHING BECAUSE EVERY TIME I DO SOMETHING I GET THE BLOCK DEVICE OR BLK...when I go back into the shell.

Blk4 :Blockdevice - Alias (null)
-------then the ACPI then string of numbers like up above
-------then it switches to hd26b :HardDisk - Alias fs0 blk0

I also disconnected the battery from the motherboard and put it back in and power up again and nothing. I have been trying to get this going for over two weeks no and nothing is working. I would so appreciate anyone that could not only help me fix this but also to teach me anything you can as I am very passionate about learning about technology and IT. Let me know I can supply any other information to you.

Thank you in advance,
Teresa
