[SOLVED] Need am HDMI socket, what card do I buy ???

Hello,

Please forgive my lack of knowledge, I have a Ryzen 5 3400G Desktop PC with a Microstar A320M Pro-VD/S Board MS -7A36, according to msinfo32, I am not a hardcore gamer and more then happy with it's performance.

But I want to connect my PC directly with my TV, and there is only a VGA and DVI socket on the back, can I kindly ask what type of card I need to buy to allow a connection though HDMI??

Any sensible advice would be very much appreciated, many thanks in advance,

There are HDMI-to-VGA converters for sale. Gotchas and pitfalls may exist, though it worked fine for my old VGA-only monitor.
