I'm in the process of upgrading my gaming system and my restrictions are it has to be a micro-ATX motherboard and I prefer AMD processors. Does any one have any recommendations given these restrictions?
Hi! I don't know if you know this or not, but AMD is soon going to be coming out with their new FX CPU's, which is only supported by the AM3+ MoBo. Since the CPU has not come out yet, I do not know if you want to upgrade to it when it does, if you do then you will need an AM3+ MoBo, I will give 2 suggestions, one being a socket AM3+, while the other being the AM3 (supporting only the Phenom/Athlon CPUs)

Awseome! Thanks! I have seen a lot ot recommendations for ASUS boards and I previously had an ASRock motherboard and really like it. I'll check to see if anyone has performed any comparisons yet.
There is little difference in MoBo's other than:
-The OnBoard Graphics (which I doubt you need since you game)
-Number or RAM slots
-RAM standard
-Number of PCIe/PCIe x16 slots etc.
So they should be the same except those and their brand.
