Need an advice about a motherboard + cpu.

Hello guys,
Ok so the thing is. I'm gonna buy a new motherboard and a CPU, My budget is limited ( exactly 250 $ ). So my question is : what mb and cpu should I get, AMD or Intel, as I want a good performance for the money. Im gonna play games on that configuration, also I have a Corsair Vengeance 2x4 1600mhz kit and AMD R7 260x 2gb OC ver. I was planing to buy GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 + FX 6300. But I still have 2-3 days until my salary. So I was wondering is i3 4370 a better choise.... but then the mb will be lower class. 🙁 So I rly will appreciate any opinions.

To be honest the 990 boars are not worth it for a single card setup, what I would do is go amd, sub out the 990 board for the gigabyte 970a ud3p, then get the fx 8320. That all we be under $250, and will give you a really good experience.

Yes, but I plan to make a crossfire and OC in the future. :/ and 990 boards are perfet for that .... are they ?

Get an Intel Pentium G3258 with a ASRock Z97M Pro4.

A guy told me, that those processors are bad for gaming. But the mb looks great.

Well crossfire with the 6300 wouldn't be the best idea to be honest, Either you would need to get a larger budget like wait until everyone has the holiday sales on the the week before the holiday in December or, you can buy something like an i5 right now with your current budget, and the cooler. Then once you get the money again like to me good motherboard for crossfire will run you about 100+ to be honest. So then now that I look at it, if you can skip a few morning mcmuffins and coffees, you could get this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i54440 So that would be $268 total with a gaming crossfire ready motherboard, and a i5. You will be pretty well set with that

Ok and how about if I go for FX 8230 ? but still i5 will be a better choise I know that.

Btw I found and good offer for Asrock 990fx extreme3 + fx 8350... what about those two ?

Intel is better as you know and even in the long term the Intel will serve better. If tight on budget go for it(AMD).

ok I checked this Intel G3258 and it's a great one, but when it comes to streaming ( it has no HT and multithreading )... well Im rly on the line I cannot decide, Im pretty sure fx 6300 will do much better job. Still thanks a lot for your efforts, and Im gonna think about it a little more. The MB u showed me is great btw

No, the FX6300 does a good job only in rendering works(editing etc.)

The G3258 is the better choice for gaming and not many games use more than two cores and the Intel is better in single-core performance. Hence, it's better.

For the best game performance just get the i5 and board i listed above. The extra 18 bucks will be best in the long run

Man, I understand what u are trying to say.... but I prefer to buy them from my country ( Bulgaria ) I hate ship deals and stuff .... takes 1-2 weeks to arrive. Anyway If I get i5 and a good motherboard it will cost me lot of money and I'll have to give all my salary for that i5. And i3 4160 is just too low, FX 6300 is much better. Im thinking of FX 8320 right now. I can affort FX 8230. Anyway rly thanks a lot for your help ! Really appreciate it ! (bow)
