I want to get a new gpu and can spend 250-300$ on it. Can you recommend me best ones with this price? Also I have 400W power supply and Asus P7P55 LX motherboard. Will I need to change something of those?
I heard gtx 760 is really good(true?).
so which would be better?

I'd suggest getting a new PSU. If you're in the US:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card ($239.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($55.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $295.98
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

AMD just dropped the price of most of their GPUs - the 7950 is a little cheaper than most 760s, and ever so slightly faster (could go either way, really).
