Need an AWESOME Capston Project

So here's my dilemma.

I'm in my final semester for my Associates for Cyber Security/Computer Forensics. I need a Capstone Project ASAP. I don't want to do a simple "build your own computer". I have access to a few old computers an old router, some old HDD, a tablet. And don't want to spend an arm an a leg to do something really cool.

I've been looking at ways to re-purpose my old stuff and spend a little bit of money to do some type of project. Something around the house or with my car. Just something really awesome.

Create a small network with the router, the two old computers and the tablet. Keep it simple and consistent.

Then, set things up so the tablet can retrieve/receive selected Event Logs from the two old computers. Set up some "on demand" searches and comparisons of and between the Event Logs.

Use Powershell and a database (e.g., Access).

What's the quality that your school looking for with your capstone? When I did my capstone, they wanted business quality designs.
