The socket that was where my computer is is messed up so i'm using another one next to my bed and i've set out to buy a 3m extension: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0716ZMQFD/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1
I realised that I would need to get the Amps/Wattage for my 2 monitors & with my psu but I wasn't sure if i was doing my calculations right or how much my outlet can handle. So I would appreciate a second,third and fourth opinion ;) specs below.

this is what i got so far although im not sure what's right and what's not...

outlet: 15A(?)
extension: 10A(?)
psu: 550@90% = 550/240=2.29A = 2.3A (yeah. not sure about this one)
monitor: 2x140W = 280+550=830W Voltage= 240V+264V=504V

Voltage = Psu = 240V+504V = 744V
Amp = 830/744=1.12A+2.3A=3.42A
Total:
PSU@90% + Both Monitors =830W,504V,3.42A?

The amps seem a little low... so thanks for your wisdom in advance

you don't add voltages

so worst case 140Wx2 + 550W/0.9 = 611 = 891W
So if you are in the UK. 891/220V (we're really on 220V now and it gives you a more worst case scenario).

891/220= 4.05Amps. You are fine. A 10amp extension will cope with anything except, ovens, irons, kettles, toasters, heaters.

Thanks!, this is exactly what I wanted to hear.

I don't want to set the house on fire at one point due to my recklessness so I appreciate giving me some piece of mind

I've only got a power line adapter connected to that outlet and it works fine. However if I plug anything else in the outlet will overheat. So I use a different outlet which is fine I think
