Hi guys, accidentally bought an extra GTX 1080 and decided to make a new rig for myself =).

If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? I figure the GTX 1080 will pretty much max everything out =)

Provide any additional details you wish below.
Some things I am trying decide upon:
1) I decided to go with the i7-6800K cause from what I've read the temperatures are generally lower than the i7-5820K. However, since I plan to do video editing etc, I figure the 6800K would be what I would need. Or should I go with the i7-7700K?
2) I was hoping to get a small factor case, but I'd like your opinion on this. I was debating between the the Fractal Design Define R5 or maybe the smaller mini C, but I figure the R5 has more expansions etc, or maybe I should get the Define S. I'd love your opinions or if you have any other case suggestions as well .
3) Finally, I'm debating on the mobo between the EVGA micro 2 (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7q38TW/evga-motherboard-131hee095kr) or the Asrock extreme 4 (https://pcpartpicker.com/product/xJFPxr/asrock-motherboard-x99extreme4). I couldn't find much of a difference between the two except that the Micro2 has a USB 3.1 gen 2 port as well as USB 3.1 gen 1 ports while the asrock extreme4 only has USB 3.1 gen 1 ports. Do I really need a USB 3.1 gen 2 port? I only ask because MicroCenter currently has the Asrock Extreme4 and the i7-6800K in stock and if bought together I could get a $30 discount, plus a $30 rebate for the mobo.
Anyhow, any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!
