Hey Guys,

Looking to upgrade my PC almost completely!

This is the build
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/jzT2CJ

Is there anything you would change, in the same price range?

With this new build, id like to be able to record Games in HD i.e Minecraft, Skyrim, Call of Duty etc... and also Edit and Render in HD as well.

Note* any parts that are not filled, i already have.

Thanks!

in these comparing sites eve 0.3 is a big difference, that Xeon E3-1220L v3 is no way for gaming its only 2 core and only 4 threads even g3258 would perfrom way better in gaming.

Get Xeon e3 1231 v3 is the best CPU for you needs its perfroms same as i7 4770. Only Xeon that is worth for gaming is Xeon e3 1231 v3 mayve you can get Xeon e3 1230 v3 which is the same CPU but clocked just a bit lower, but dont get it if its only 10£ less atleast £20
If you can spend a bit more i would get this

The v300 drive is a bad drive. Kingston pulled a bait and switch on the memory chips in the drive, all the drives made in the last 2 years get 1/3 the real world performance.

If the Samsung evo is to much then either get a crucial or sandisk drive, stay away from any drive cheaper then those.

Outside of that everything else looks really good. Only thing I would even change is GSklll over Kingston on the ram but that is more of just brand preference on my part.

found this one, although not a named brand mentioned, still seems a good choice?

The main reason i wanted the E3 1231 Is that is has hyper threading. I just read that the 1230 does not so may have to pay the extra and stick with the 1231
