ASRock H61M-VG3

cooler master elite case
lc power 500w psu

Solution

If you upgrade to i7 then it would be an overclockable CPU ofcourse but the motherboard you have may not support Overclocking. Also your CPU will burn that motherboard because its Power delivery system cant handle i7.
You are better with i3.

Would you say this is a good socket to go with? I see that there are even some i7 processors that i can upgrade to later.

What about if i put a H81M-DGS would that one be able to handle i7?

Couldn't find a good product on ebay. So I'm providing you an Amazon link

Bro I need a 1155 socket not 1150

Hmm, then just use the motherboard you are getting with it. Later upgrade both your CPU and motherboard. Because LGA1155 socket supports CPUs upto 3rd gen only which is old now. You can later get a 6th gen CPU and motherboard.
