[SOLVED] Need another 8GB for my setup

Currently have a Legion 5 15IMH05H. It has 8GB of RAM(not sure the frequency), and I want to buy an additional 8GB to add. Looking for recommendations from y'all.

Whatever is cheap to be honest. However if your laptop has two slots and you want to add another stick, I would suggest buying a matching pair of RAM sticks and then sell the stick that was already in there. RAM does not always work together, hence why it is sold in factory matched sets.

Looking at the specs your laptop supports up to 16GB of DDR4 2933MHz

From what I can tell your Laptop takes 8gb SO-DIMM at speeds of DDR4-3200 or DDR4-2666.

Although it looks like it came from the factory with DDR4-2933

If you are only buying 1 stick of RAM I would at least try and match it with DDR4-2933. You might even get lucky to find used RAM of the same part number somewhere.
