[SOLVED] Need assistance for Ram for Dell XPS 8500

Good morning all!

I have a question, I have an older desktop, a Dell XPS 8500. I-7 3.4 ghz
I have loved it and it has worked so well until this year. I have played Final Fantasy MMO with no issues, Overwatch and only lately has it been struggling with Call of Duty, Cold War. I have watched what is stressed when I am running the game and it seems to be the ram, I thought I had 16 but turns out to be 12.

I also have the standard graphics that came with the PC.

So now it is slow to load some web pages in general... just to even open. I need new Ram, what should I get for this system?

Trying to hold out for black friday deals and try and find a new gaming PC for about 700 or a tiny bit more. Ideas???

I have installed this Crucial 16GB kit on the same model.
Using a SSD instead of a HDD for programs and games makes a big improvement.
Sometimes is the slow disk that is making the system lag.

If you can wait several weeks then get it cheaper from Newegg

If you want it even cheaper, then search on eBay.

I also think I will buy a smaller SSD just to have the games on.

Do you have any advisement besides better Ram like this to make my system better with games? and THANK you so very much.
