Solution
Ya, that is very helpful, the noises it make are in "code" you can reference, manual/manufactuars/google and will tell you. A high pitch loud Squeek, means it's dying, buzzing means it's overheated.
No, it's hdd, is it "brand new" or just newly owned by you. This is a common problem when a hdd fills up. I suggest, if you have the os on the hdd, put it on an ssd, and partition off the hdd. You're mobo, won't affect the hdd, it's performane is not depicted by anything other than it self, what brand do you have?

From what I understand you're using a WD Caviar Black 2TB HDD correct? What does the noise you're hearing sound like? Is it a clicking, whirring, scratching, or whining?

Chances are it isn't a big problem but it is worth checking out now.

Well, how old is your computer? I would say it's compatable, but what sata_ ports do you pc use?

Seems like normal sounds for a physical drive, just to make sure if you haven't already have them placed horizontally (if they are vertical they make more noise) you can always get sound proofing for it.

its not continuous, when i open any folder, or open chrome or photoshop! it makes so much noise!

i have already got replacement frm WD! but i m asking here is this HDD compatible with my system so i shud not face same issue again?

2 questions: how much watt is of my PSU! and does my motherboard model support 2TB? how can i know this! i have given all specs on main post #1

oh lol, i want off the pic, still go to teir website and referance manual

Ah? Thanks! i would rather wait for other experts to answer!

Sounds like it's just seeking noise, probably caused by the arm moving back and forth quickly. Try defragmenting your HDD and see if that makes it better. The power needed isn't important, your motherboard will work fine with your HDD.

Here is original video of my pc sir: http://www.sendspace.com/file/a3f44s

see the sound it makes! specially when i open chrome , sound level is damn too high that its unbearable in my room!

dear i would like to ask 3 questions from u as you seems to be tech expert :-

1- will defreg. fix this issue?
2- is my current power supply enough to run HD and GFX CARD?
3- do my mobo support this 2TB?

Thanks

1: It can't hurt it, I would do this just to see if it fixes it.
2: Yes
3: Yes
