I wanted to ask you guys the best performance gaming PC I could build for my friend for 800 dollars. I am not the best overclocker but I could OC a GPU. Here is my first idea: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2wMRfH
This is a little over budget but if anyone could configure it for 800 or less that would be great. He is fine with no RGB and wants to be on more of the performance side. What he was asking for was if we could make it a ray tracing capable system. I am assuming he has a 1080p 60hz monitor but I will update this if not. So he is looking for minimum 60fps at 1080p. I chose some fast RAM because the prices were hella low and Ryzen likes that more RAM. One last thing I was looking for is I need a Semi or Fully modular PSU for easier build. Thanks and please leave your suggestions below with pcpartpicker.

Solution
Okay, so the Ryzen 3 2200g and Ryzen 5 3400G are actually 2nd-gen Ryzen CPUs and not the new 3rd-gen despite their 3000 series naming scheme. So, it would be better to get the Ryzen 5 2600 because if you are getting a dedicated GPU. That was some fast RAM, but I don't think it will run that fast with 2nd-gen Ryzen CPUs. You should really have an SSD in any build today. This GPU doesn't have any LED/RGB lights, so that's a bummer, but it fits the budget and will be virtually as fast as the more expensive Strix.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($133.00 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Team T-FORCE...
btw i just saw an awesome deal on microcenter that was able to get me down right on the budget with better parts! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tvtXXP
ignore the mobo price the combo is 224$, im gonna ask him if hes fine with used and that could bring down the price even more for like better ram or a little more storage. lemme know if i should pick some used parts or will I be good with the current config?
Change the PSU to the one I had mentioned above. Do not compromise on PSU...

alright, so I found a psu, rated on the high tier list on their, the vengeance silver 750w, looks like a higher tier and its pretty cheap. I think the final build will look like this:https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4kns6s
the mobo and cpu is a bundle and is a 50 dollar save. lemme know if i should cheap out a little more on other parts for a better gpu or anything. if you have another recommendation, please let me know.
