Basically, my grandad gave me this computer, and i wanted to upgrade it.
The current parts are as follows, currently in the system (packard bell imedia s1800 (D3524 UK)) as it came:
Intel Pentium E5700
Intel GMA X4500 graphics
500GB HDD
3 GB of RAM
and loads of card readers
i am wanting to upgrade it to a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (or higher/lower) and was wondering if that was possible with this current setup, or weather i will need to update the bios because of the CPU. I was also going to put a 750 Ti in, but if the CPU does not work when i put it in then there will be no point. If any of you could help this would be exellent!
