Hello,

I am looking for a set of quality 140mm fans with RGB.
More precicely, I am looking for a pack of either 3 or 5 fans. I plan to use 1 as rear exhaust, and 2 as top exhaust (and it it's a 5 pack, I will replace my fromt 2 radiator fans)
The fans should be as quiet as possible, move as much air as possible, and the RGB kind i want is the one where the round casing of the fan is lit up, not the fan blades itself (somethinfg like NZXT AER 140mm fans with RGB, but necessarilly thos fans, the rgb ring can be more round than square-ish)
I do like to run my case fans constantly at 100% so anything really loud is out of the question

I am looking for advice and personal experiences and recomendations from other users here, since I did not really dig deep enought into the reviews of various fans just yet.
I am okay with proprietary connectors, however I would like to avoid usage of software that needs to run constatnly in order for the rgb colors to stay like they should.
What I mean by this is, some rgb devices allow you to specify color/effect you want, but after restarting the PC, they revert back to default rainbow colors or what ever is default.
If software is needed to specify colors, I want to be able to turn it on once, specify colors, and preferrably never turn it on again untill I want to change colors

Any and all comments/suggestions are very much appreciated. If anyone can point me to reviews of some quality fans they recomend, I would be even more grateful

I wouldn't recommend a rear exhaust fan near "top" exhaust fans if you are using a top mounted radiator to liquid cool your cpu/gpu. The rear fan will reduce airflow thru the radiator, reducing its cooling ability.

If the top fans are not blowing thru a radiator (an all air-cooled system), you're fine. But you'll want as many exhaust fans blowing out as you have cooling fans blowing IN or you'll have "negative pressure", putting a strain on your fans, drawing more power, reducing their life... and cooling performance.

As far as fans go, I haven't found any particular brand to be better than any other, but I love "magnetic bearing" fans. They make almost no sound even under heavy load and cool just fine (and last for years.)
