Hullo thar fellows.

I'm in the market for a new 23"+ and the only thing I think I need in order to make an educated purchase is a full understanding of what "full 1080p" means in the context of these displays.

On newegg, some monitors advertise "FULL 1080p!" Like it's an exclusive feature, and other monitors with similar sizes/resolutions/prices/HDMI plugs do not. Does this matter? Or is it just for marketing?

Is there any distinct spec to look for when shopping for true HD Display? Or is it safe to assume all LCD 1920 x 1080 Widescreens are going to have the full potential?

Thanks community!
