Hello community I just got my new RIG build recently and im noobie to PC Parts so this build was basically recommended by a friend which later i was told by bunch of other friends that my CPU fan Cooler is extremely weak and a waste of money , i would like to note that i was in a extreme tight budget and im not planning to OC the CPU or anything .
So I would like to know your opinion in the overall Setup and the CPU Cooler and if should really change it or not .
PS : I Play basically Moba and 1080p 60FPS

MB: gigabyte z270 gaming k3
RAM: (2x8) 16gb Corsair 3000mhz Low profile
SDD: samsung Evo 250gb
CASE: NZXT s340 Black
PSU : Corsair TX650M
CPU Fan : CM 212 LED
CPU : INTEL i7 7700K

Thank you .

1) the TDP of the I7-7700K (not overclocked) is 91Watts (ref: https://ark.intel.com/products/97129/Intel-Core-i7-7700K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_50-GHz)
2) the CM212 isn't indicated on how much TDP is handles (refhttp://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-212-evo/) and this worries me to be honest I would suggest you get a better TDP marked over 100W cooler, that way you can be sure when you overclock your CPU you will not burn it up.

Many web site, have these top 10 and reviews, and you will constantly see the Hyper 2121 as one of the favorites, but none of them are able to stated it handles this many TDP, and to me that is a rather big failure as Handling of TDP by a cooler is what will keep your CPU cool under stress and gaming conditions.

My suggestion gets Cryorig H7, it is 35$, and has a TDP rating of 140W http://www.cryorig.com/h7_us.php

I would pick the regular 212 Evo and add an extra radiator fan(https://www.amazon.com/Phanteks-Pressure-Radiator-Cooling-PH-F120MP_BK_PWM/dp/B00OP2PUB8/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1519648025&sr=1-3&keywords=120mm+high+static+fan is but one possibility.)

I use the 212 Evo with a 4690K and haven't been disappointed. The 212 Evo I think has a TDP of 180W. Let's go Googling!!!!!! Not too painful. I visited Newegg and see https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099 and it says Maximum TDP 180W. The LED model is said to be tweaked and slightly better than the standard 212 Evo. t It pretty much seems like they applied 2 lower RPM fans and called it good so it's quieter. That's the 212 LED Turbo. You are asking about the LED turbo which just has 1 LED fan.

Personally I would keep things simple and buy a regular 212 Evo. The Cryorig H7 is better and the $10 premium is worth it.

Perform the same? You just lost me and I think my brain has whiplash,. How is that even possible?

Stock speed as in idle? The Cryorig is a little better. Fan and heatsink design will be different so temps. will vary between your choices at idle or a gaming or a stress test load.

I may be way off with my answer. I missed something.

I didn't see that. Welcome to the forums!:D I'm glad we could help.
