So basically getting a new build. I built a computer about 3 years ago and I was pretty happy with it, but since was a budget pc, so i need a new pc now.

I am looking for a build based around the i5 4690k (no need for i7 if I'm mostly gaming and doing some light video editing, or at least that is what I've heard) and the gtx 970 (a quiet and decently powerful Gpu)
Also must include:
Atleast 8gb of ram
120gb ssd
Atleast 1Tb HHD
CPU FAN capable of doing some OC
A case that has good cable management and can fit, said fan and gpu.

I'm looking too do some CPU OCing for sure and maybe a little bit of gpu OCing if it is smart to do so.
I am hoping this build will last me about 5 years or more( with possible upgrades in mind of course, so some future proof qualities would be nice.)

I'm not too experienced with choosing parts, so I'm not very sure if all the parts are compatible and which version of certain products (for example; the gpu) is a better choice.

Lastly it would be nice to shave off some $ from my current build from poorly chosen parts.( I know the case I chose seems unnecessary, so maybe i can get one with same practical uses for a lower price.)

I'm in Canada and only considering to buy from Newegg and Amazon, hopefully only Newegg if possible as I want all the stuff shipped form one place.

Is that fan good enough for OCing the cpu compared to the Phantek 14?
Any comments on if the parts I've chosen if good enough to run this build or anything else i should change?

Ahh, I didn't see that coming thanks for the explanation. Is there any solution to this? "If" I want to overclock more and require a good cpu cooler like the phantek.

Also, is there a cheaper case that will fit this build's needs?

If you want to keep the Phantek 14, you need buy the low profile RAM, like ADATA XPG V1.0 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211818
And they will fit, like http://www.cnews.cz/sites/default/files/oldcnews/archive/novinky/archive/2012/05kveten/phanteks-ph-tc14cs-test/photos_/450px/30-.jpg

Other case you may buy that is the Phanteks Enthoo Pro F PH-ES614P_BK Full Tower for $100. http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00K6S1B3Q/?tag=pcp0f-20
