Need Compatible Motherboard

I have been looking for a compatible motherboard for my gaming computer. I had trouble with my motherboard and it not working with my CPU. So I ordered another one and then this time it wouldn't work with graphics card. The problem being that the board had a PCI Express 1 slot and the card had a PCI Express 3 slot. I cannot afford another part return for this rig. If possible please keep it at or below $60.

What motherboard (name and model) that you currently have that had a PCI Express 1 slot and the card had a PCI Express 3 slot.? If you have 1155 socket MB, most of them should work.

Is this compatible with all my other parts? I want to be very sure because I only have a few days left until I cannot return certain items.

The first motherboard I purchased was not compatible with my Intel i3 CPU. So I bought another motherboard and it is not compatible due to a PCI Express slot on the board being only the Express 1 version and the slot on the card being a PCI Express 3. The most recent motherboard (the one with the PCI problem) is a MB ECS|H61H2-I3 (v1.0) HD61 LGA 1155
