Going to have to stick with LGA1155 CPUs, that would rule out any 4th gen chips.

If you are wanting to overclock the i5-3570k and i7-3770k are your options. And the i7-3770k is going to be overbudget. You'll also want to pick up an aftermarket heatsink if you don't have one.

If you already have one of these CPUs, you don't have an upgrade path without spending much more then your budget.

Without having to get another motherboard a i5 3570k would be the best choice for your budget it will not bottleneck any games and you can get an aftermarket cooler with it for overclocking. Something like the hyper evo 212 is cheap and coos very good.

If you decide to get the i5 3570k, as jollypirate said, you need a custom cooler.
Also, if you are looking for a more futureproof solution, get the i7 3770 on a price reduction. Aftermarket cooler on that chip is not a must, because it's got a locked multiplier.
