EDITED*
I'm currently in the process of building my very first PC. I wanted to design this PC with the intention of using it for a range of things like, gaming, streaming, website creating, photo and video editing, heavy internet researching, stuff of that sort. So not only will I be playing games, I will also be doing a lot of productivity and multitasking. I need someone who is more experienced with building PCs to give me some advice on what I can improve on the parts I chose or if the parts I chose are solid for the kind of PC I want it to be. Keep in mind that I do not have a fixed budget but I am aiming for high quality low cost parts. Also, noise from fans is not an issue and I'm not aiming for the BEST graphics. Thank you!

Budget? always plan for future proof components, I can see your'e aiming for multitasking in a single system, no fancy LED, kids case, OK.

Can't beat intel CPU for now, you'll get faster processing with high GHz on single thread apps, not much apps benefit core count. The balance of core count and high clock pre cost such as i7 6700k, if you run simultaneous multiple program get xeon e5 2630 v4, if you afford this i7 6950x, flexible OC or down clock with 20 thread powerhouse.

Gigabyte X99 SLI s the cheapest for xeon e5 v3/v4 or i7 6800 to 6950x, no known issue as far as know. Gigabyte Z170 Gaming Ultra for 6700k or lower if you looking to daisy chain devices. Make sure your choice fit your chosen case.

Case, notice the rear PCIe...

Case, notice the rear PCIe expansion bracket, the most common are 8, 7, 4, 2, if you opt Gigabyte X99 SLI, select 8 slots case, 7 slots won't fit triple or quad graphic card set.

CPU cooler, air or water, stock air cooler or AIO water cooling will do just fine for the next 4 years . custom/open water cooler will just consume more watts (pump + fans) and annual maintenance.

Only choose DDR4 2133 or 2400 from reputable vendors. Not all motherboard support intel XMP or speed over 2400.

SSD is fast but only if you mostly work large multimedia files, I'd recommended get best GB/dollar storage and only opt SSD as OS and program or scratch disk residence.

The 2011-3 CPUs don't have integrated graphic, any mainstream such as GTX 1050 or RX 470 has enough power for 3D viewport, UHD/Blue RAY file editing, and medium quality setting game on full HD screen, and light GPU base render.

Calculate the selected components power consumption, an expensive lowest wattage titanium rate such as corsair AX series or EVGA T series offers longer life span on your components beside itself , notice the price between AX 760 and RM 1000.

I'd go for build up, and add necessary components
