Need Extended PC Power Button

My pc is located in my basement hanging the the floor joist on a garage storage rack. I have 20ft HDMI cable, four 6ft usb cables, and speaker wires fished up the wall in my living room from the basement. All works fine until i have to power cycle the pc. I need to make a power button that comes from the pc up the wall to the usb plate i have in the wall. i would like to just extend the current button if possible, if not can some one explain the wires needed to create a 6 to 10ft power button cable with power led. thanks.

4 conductors, so a telephone wire/jack would be simple. Two for the power button, and two for the LED. LED on the case should be removed from the circuit.

Power button works by shorting the 5V+ standby to ground briefly. So you just need a normally open switch at the end of your wire.

Yeah, that subject came up here a week or so ago, for someone who's front power button was broken. I was also surprised the product existed.
