I have an asus rog strix z390-E motherboard. I have a cooler master 240rgb aio installed. I have 3 corsair ml120 rgb with lighting modes on the top of my cougar panzer max case. I need an extra internal usb to plug in the controller for the fans. I was thinking of buying the corsair commander pro but I dont know of that will fix the issue. I want to be able to control the lighting on the fans and all that. If someone can please help me with a solution that would be awesome. I seen the nzxt usb hub but there are reports of it frying systems and I dont want to risk that.

Well, NZXT internal USB hub is one of the best solutions for it,
specs: https://www.nzxt.com/products/internal-usb-hub

Also, who's reporting NZXT internal USB hub is frying systems?
I have these hubs in use with my Skylake and Haswell builds (full specs with pics in my sig) and i have 0 issues using them as they are intended for.

Btw, Commander Pro doesn't help since it also has USB cable going from it to MoBo, just like Lighting Node Pro has it,

For other internal USB 2.0 splitters, there are plenty of those questionable quality items out there,

Reading reviews on amazon and new egg about the NZXT. All i need is one extra usb header for my system.

System Specs:
ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E MOBO
Intel Core I7 9700k with Cooler master 240rgb aio
Cougar Panzer Max Case
EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti
Corsair rm750x Gold PSU
4 x 8gb Gskill Trident Royal RGB 3200Mhz
Windows 10 64 Pro
3 Corsair ML120 Pro mag levi fans with lighting node

I only need one more USB header so I can control the fans and the rgb. Right now they are in like a demo mode I suppose. They are all synced and run the same colors switching at the as same time but i cant control the rgb or detect them in Corsair ICUE without the extra usb. What do you think is my best option. I was told the Commander should work because it has 2 headers on it.

Well, Commander Pro costs the most but it does have 2x internal USB 2.0 connectors on him,
specs: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categ...ting-and-Fan-Speed-Controller/p/CL-9011110-WW
amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Fan-Controller-Commander-CL-9011110-WW/dp/B0725HP1J2

As far as reviews go, on amazon/newegg, you can find plenty of users who have fried part of their system with Commander Pro as well,

So, you can either believe what those 1 star reviewers are saying or not. It's up to you.
But like i said above, i have NZXT internal USB hubs in use and not on 1x PC but on 2x PCs. I bought them in September of 2017 (2 years ago) and they have worked fine from the day i bought them. I too have 3x internal USB 2.0 devices: NZXT HUE+ (connected directly to MoBo), case's front I/O (connected to NZXT internal USB hub) and 3.5" external card reader (also connected to NZXT internal USB hub).
